About Me: Born and raised in Houston, TX, I feel truly blessed to call Waco home for the second time as an alum of Baylor University! I spend the majority of my time outside of residency running, cycling, weightlifting, or finding any other excuse to be outside. My husband and I are passionate about creating the perfect espresso shot, hosting game nights, and juggling as many home projects as possible. I'm so thrilled to serve the Waco community in a new way and continue to follow Christ's mission for my life in medicine!

About Me: Hey y'all! I'm from Donna, TX, a small town in the Rio Grande Valley where most of my family has lived for generations, and where I learned to value faith, family, and community. My interest in family medicine is rooted in a desire to serve disadvantaged communities like my own, where quality medical care can be difficult to find, let alone access. I chose Waco FM for the way it trains physicians to do just that! Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with Mary Liz (my wife and co-resident!), hanging out with friends, fishing the Texas Gulf Coast, strumming my guitar, and rooting for the Baylor Bears!

About Me: Hi! I was born and raised in Spring, TX, just outside of Houston. I met my husband (and now co-resident!), Forrest, during undergrad at Baylor (sic ‘em). We left Waco to go to medical school at UTMB in Galveston together, and we are so excited that the Lord has brought us to Waco again. We look forward to getting to know and serve our neighbors! Outside of medicine, you can find me reading good books, hosting board game nights, thrifting, and spending quality time with family and friends.

About Me: I grew up in Florida but have called Texas home this last decade for undergraduate, medical school and now residency! Outside of medicine, I like to spend my time running, reading, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I welcomed our son a few months before residency and are looking forward to starting this next chapter in Waco!

About Me: I grew up in San Antonio, Texas and spent my college years in Lubbock, where I met my wife, became a Christian, and discovered my passion for medicine. My desire to serve others is central to my career as a doctor, and I look forward to walking alongside my patients as I am trained in full scope family medicine here at Waco Family Medicine. My wife and I are thrilled to be in Waco, where I enjoy playing golf, trying out local restaurants, hiking, and cheering on the Red Raiders, Cowboys, Rangers, and Spurs.

About Me: Hello! If you can imagine a golden retriever in human form, you've got a good idea of my personality! It brings me joy to make others happy and helping others grow and heal gives me a deep sense of purpose. I especially want to serve those with little to no access to resources, like in global or rural settings. My long-term goal is to serve overseas and share the love of Jesus through medicine. In my free time, I enjoy singing, playing guitar, learning more about Jesus, spending time with loved ones, and playing essentially any sport!

About Me: I was born and raised in Texas and it will always be home to me. During medical school, I spent a year traveling around the state to complete my clinical rotations in various rural towns. I like to spend my free time making memories with my family, friends, or my golden retriever - Sadie!

About Me: I grew up as a missionary kid in Brazil, which instilled in me a deep passion for service, global ministry, and connecting with different cultures. My husband, Wyatt, and I met during undergrad at Wofford College and were blessed to go to medical school together in Charleston. I was drawn to Family Medicine because of its unique ability to provide full-spectrum care while also fostering meaningful relationships with patients along the way.

I am passionate about caring for underserved populations and believe God has called me to use my career to serve others, especially those who may not otherwise have access to high-quality care. Wyatt and I are so excited to be joining the WFM family and feel incredibly blessed to be part of this community!

My hope for the future is to practice full-spectrum Family Medicine in an urban and/or international underserved setting, potentially in a teaching role. In my free time, you can find me outside with Wyatt and our dog, Teddy, trying out a new recipe or restaurant, or spending quality time with friends and family. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for us as we begin this journey in Waco!

About Me: I am from a small town in middle of nowhere South Carolina. I grew up working on a house with parents who were willing to do anything from electrical work to landscaping and learned a little bit about everything along the way. Along with my love for developing relationships and serving others, this "jack of all trades" mentality is something that drew me to Family Medicine. When I am not in clinic you will find me and my wife sharing some aspect of our lives with others. Whether it be our food, faith, games, or workouts; we want to open our home and lives to those around us.

About Me: Hi! I’m so excited to be joining the Waco Family Medicine community. I was born and raised in Kansas, attended Friends University for undergrad, and completed medical school at the University of Kansas. Along the way, I met my amazing husband, and together we love staying active, spending time outdoors, and cheering on the 49ers during football season (well… he cheers—I mostly go for the snacks!). I’m also a big fan of puzzles, card games, and building Lego sets. We’re so grateful to be in Waco and can’t wait to serve this community and grow with our new residency family!

About Me: I’m a proud Texan who grew up in rural, central Texas, where my interest in full-spectrum family medicine started. I could not be more stoked to join the Waco Family Medicine team. In my free time, you can find me doing anything outdoors, exploring new restaurants, or searching for flight deals on Skyscanner for my next adventure. I’m excited to fully embrace this calling from the Lord and serve His people while striving to demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus.

About Me: I was born and raised in Tri-Cities, Washington, and have spent my whole life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, until now! As a former collegiate athlete, I'm always looking for opportunities to play volleyball, though I enjoy other sports, as well. I'm a diehard baseball fan (go Mariners!), and have an incredibly wide range of interests including history, travel, food, movies (Star Wars, Marvel, LOTR, etc), books, card games, and anything my friends need a buddy for. I'm passionate about healthcare equity and full-scope family medicine in small communities and am excited to be training at Waco!
