About Me: Hello! I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. I was fortunate enough to receive the Terry Scholarship and attend the University of Houston, where I also completed my medical degree. Growing up in the Rio Grande Valley, I experienced firsthand the difficulties of living in and accessing healthcare in an underserved community. Those experiences have served as a driving force throughout my medical career and ultimately led me to choose Family Medicine. I know Waco Family Medicine will fully prepare me to serve populations like the one I grew up in. I am married to my wonderful wife, Jessica. We have one son and a Doberman Pinscher. My other interests include DIY auto and home projects, hosting carne asadas, fishing, and mariachi / Mexican music.

About Me: Hey y’all! I’m from Pilot Point, Texas, a small town north of Dallas. Growing up there, I developed an early appreciation for close-knit communities and the role of a trusted local physician. After moving to Houston for medical school, where I met my now fiancée, I grew to love Family Medicine and the meaningful relationships it allows me to build with patients. I am especially drawn to broad-spectrum practice and hope to serve a smaller or rural community in the future. Outside of medicine, I’m actively involved in my church, as my faith is central to everything I do. I also love music (especially country music) and staying active, whether that’s working out, hiking, fishing, or attempting to play golf. I am grateful for the opportunity to train at Waco Family Medicine and am excited to call Waco home!

About Me: I am an Ivorian American raised in Amarillo Texas. I enjoy playing sports, being outdoors, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family. Growing up in an immigrant household in West Texas I learned the immense value of community and relationships, and this has instilled in me the passion of family medicine. I am blessed and excited to be at a program who shares the value of servant leadership and full-spectrum family medicine care.

About Me: I grew up in a suburb just outside San Francisco, California. Over a decade ago, I had the opportunity to serve as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic, which deepened my desire to care for underserved communities both domestically and abroad. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through sports, hiking, traveling, and walking my dog. I also like keeping up with my favorite teams, particularly the Dodgers and Warriors. My faith in Christ is central to who I am, and I hope to reflect His love and care to those around me during my time here in Waco.

About Me: Just a girl trying my best to find joy in the little things of life and find opportunities to spread joy to others. I've moved around a lot, and my husband and I are very excited to now be living and contributing to the beautiful community of Waco, Texas! You can recognize me around clinic or the hospital by my hot pink stethoscope and my pink accessories. In my free time, I enjoy little creative projects like crochet, embroidery, or watercolor; event planning; or spending time outside hiking or biking.

About Me: Hi everyone! I was born and raised in Iowa, where I completed both my undergraduate and medical school education. I chose family medicine for its variety, meaningful relationships, and the opportunity to care for people across all stages of life. Outside of medicine, I love food, lifting, jigsaw puzzles, gaming, live music, and hanging out with family and friends. So excited to join the Waco Family Medicine family!

About Me: My family and faith are everything to me! In my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball, golfing, reading, playing video games, and spending time with my wife and boys. I love to watch the NFL, NBA, and college football.

About Me: I was born and raised here in Waco, Texas, and am very excited to be serving my hometown and the wonderful community that I grew up in! I am especially interested in underserved healthcare, community medicine, preventative and lifestyle medicine, and education. Outside of medicine, I love being out in nature and you will often find me running on local trails, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing. I also enjoy reading (especially history books), cooking, and spending time with friends and family. It is a blessing to be able to train here at Waco Family Medicine and to serve the people of Central Texas.

About Me: My life outside of medicine is all about being with people I love, my family, friends and my church community. I also love all things outdoors, whether it is hiking, biking, walking or just reading a book outside. I am learning guitar and I'm always down to go listen or dance to live music!

About Me: Hey there! I was born and raised in Texas, and I'm looking forward to training in the wonderful community of Waco. Before medical school, I served in the National Health Corps-AmeriCorps, where I grew my love for maternal health and serving refugees. While I don't come from a rural community, I enjoyed rotating across rural Texas at TCOM so much that I now plan to become a rural full-scope FM/OB! I love to travel and explore new communities through food & music. I have been playing the flute for 15+ years, and I hope to find a new musical family in Waco to continue my craft. Other things I enjoy outside of medicine include cooking (and eating) food from around the world, thrift shopping, hiking, dance cardio, and live music!

About Me: "I’m from a small Ohio town along the shores of Lake Erie, and I’m excited for the opportunity to care for and walk alongside patients, colleagues, and the Waco community throughout residency! Family medicine drew me in because it is rooted in relationships. I love that it gives me the chance to know patients deeply over time, to share in important moments throughout every stage of life, and to be part of a team that supports one another along the way. I am inspired by the breadth of family medicine and the opportunity to care for the whole person while recognizing the inherent dignity of every patient. I am especially drawn to underserved care, community medicine, and expanding access to medicine in a way that is both personal and meaningful.

My Catholic faith is an important part of who I am, and in my free time you can often find me attending Mass, participating in church activities, or spending time in community with friends. Otherwise, I am usually doing something different every day! I love being outdoors, especially camping, hiking, and kayaking. I am a big Cleveland sports fan and also love playing sports, especially basketball and tennis, though I am always excited to try something new. I also play the piano and cello and love any chance to jam out!"

About Me: I grew up in a small country town in North Texas. As a child, I spent a lot of time outside (to avoid doing chores), and still prefer to spend my time outdoors! I am a certified handywoman, although I seem to be very skilled at starting home improvement projects that never get done. Currently, our toddler is the CEO of my Husband and I's life, and we wouldn't have it any other way. I am passionate about serving in underserved communities, and seeking out opportunities to share the love of Christ through my role as a physician. Most importantly, I am on a sovereign mission to redeem the name of Karen in this generation!
